You’ve heard the quote, “good things come to those who wait.” This quote is usually given to encourage someone as they eagerly await, with anticipation, something to happen or change. Starting a church has been no exception to this cultural saying. It takes much time, planning, coordination, and resources…and it’s not always easy to be patient. Let’s not forget about God’s timing in all of this as He directs what we are doing as we continue to plan ahead for all things that still need to take place with Ever Rise Church! This process has been relatively slow up until this point, but that’s beginning to change!
While we have been waiting upon the Lord (to paraphrase the prophet Isaiah), we haven’t been sitting idly by. We have been waiting for God to give us some answers, but in many ways, we are starting to see much progress in the life of our church. We shared in the last newsletter that our plant team agreed upon the mission statement for Ever Rise. Over the last couple of weeks, we’ve also been able to identify the 6 core values that will help drive our church forward! Steve was also able to share these, and some of the vision for Ever Rise Church during his message this past weekend. CLICK HERE to watch the full message. Feel free to share this video with anyone who may be interested in our church.
To encourage & strengthen one another in our walk with God, and to challenge & equip God’s church to spread the good news of Jesus Christ with those around us through word & action.
Teach the Word of God
We desire to teach people God’s Word for every area of their life, showing and teaching people how to apply to their daily lives.
Prayer & Worship
Our Church will be a church where prayer and worship are deeply apart of everything that we do.
Service & Ministry
The heart of Ever Rise is to serve and minister to the community God places us, putting on full display the love and character of Jesus…after all, we are made in His image.
Build Relationships
We are a church that desires to help people strengthen their relationship with God, and teach them how to better care for one another.
Share Jesus
There is one mission of God’s church: to make followers of Jesus. As the church, we will make it a priority to tell the story of Jesus, and how He changed our lives.
Baptism
Our goal is to baptize believers in Christ, because it is a person’s first step of obedience following Jesus, as we fulfill our mission and follow the example set by Jesus.
