2 Corinthians 2:5-11
Forgive & Forget

Forgiveness is hard. There's just no way around it. Where there is a need for forgiveness, it means there's typically a deep hurt or wound. It can feel almost impossible sometimes to forgive someone...but we must remember how many times we've needed forgiveness from others, especially from God.

In our latest message, Steve walks us through this simple, but hard text when it comes to forgiveness. He pulls out 4 principles that we see from this interaction between the apostle Paul and the church at Corinth. When it comes to forgiveness and the body of Christ, these are the things that stand out:

  1. The Christian walk is one of accountability and submission.
  2. True forgiveness seeks to comfort those who have harmed you.
  3. When it comes to forgiveness, we must walk the walk.
  4. Church hurt is one of Satan's greatest weapons.
