At Ever Rise Church, we believe that one of the most important callings a father has is to disciple his children. In a world filled with distractions and competing influences, it’s crucial for dads to take an active role in leading their families spiritually. That’s why we’re excited to introduce Shepherds at Home—a new discipleship group designed specifically for fathers and their elementary-aged children.
What Is Shepherds at Home?
Shepherds at Home is more than just a Bible study—it’s a time for dads to come together with their children, learning side by side how to pray, study God’s Word, and live out the Christian faith in everyday life. Each gathering will include:
• Prayer – Teaching children how to talk to God and grow in their personal relationship with Him.
• Bible Reading & Discussion – Helping fathers guide their children through Scripture with practical, age-appropriate lessons.
• Faith in Action – Encouraging families to live out biblical principles at home, at school, and in the community.
Why Should You Join?
As fathers, we are called to be the spiritual shepherds of our homes (Deuteronomy 6:6-7). But we don’t have to do it alone! Shepherds at Home is a place where dads can encourage and support one another as they take on this important role. It’s an opportunity to be intentional about discipleship, to bond with your children in a meaningful way, and to set a strong foundation of faith for generations to come.
