One of our goals here at Ever Rise Church is to make an impact and invest in the generations coming behind us. Steve shared in the Ever Rise Vision Message (sermon from 1/28) that the younger generations, as a whole, are not going to church as much as the previous generations. He also shared that more than half of the unchurched population in Bartow County are Millenials, Gen Z, and younger.

One way to begin fostering these relationships is by meeting these generations where they are - SOCIAL MEDIA! It’s no surprise to anyone that these younger generations spend more time on social media platforms than any other population group. Almost everyone from these generations spends time on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube every single day.

For this reason, we are trying to create an online presence that is attractive and welcoming to everyone. Since we are not having regular church gatherings yet, this is one way we can begin building relationships with, and ministering to people in our community. This is no substitute for someone attending church, but it is a great way to begin building that bridge to connect someone with our church, and ultimately with Jesus.

One way you can help, is by following our social media accounts (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram) and interacting with our posts and videos. The way the online world works is…if we have more followers, subscribers, likes, comments, and shares, then the powers at be will actually promote our content to more people - even people who do not follow us right now. We never want to be focused on building our Kingdom; we are focused on building God’s Kingdom. Having a relatable and trusted online presence is certainly one way we can begin having this influence in people’s lives, especially those younger generations.

Plus, you don’t want to miss out on all the content that we will be producing. In fact, we will be launching a devotional series on our YouTube page very soon as a way to speak the Word of God into people’s lives! Click HERE to subscribe to our YouTube channel!
